Saturday, April 15, 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. at Pole Green Park. Honor the heroes, and have fun with your favorite pooch. Open to the public. Free. (All dogs required to remain on a secure leash at all times and have current license and rabies vaccination.)

On Your Mark! Get Set! Pooch Pursuit – a fitness fun run/jog/walk begins at 9 a.m., then at 10 a.m.

• Military and police K-9 units will demonstrate commands and protections
• Hanover Hounds teams will demonstrate tracking
• Canine-friendly vendors – it’s not too late to sign up for a space – be sure to visit our FOHDP tent!
• Fun games, activities and contests for your dog and you

Sign up now to be a runner/walker. Canine participation is optional. Pre-registration required for the Pooch Pursuit – $30 per 5K runner, $15 per 2K walker. Treat bags for run/walk entries. Race check-in begins at 8 a.m.- race begins at 9 a.m.
