Bored? Introduce Some “Nose Work” – Find the Treats
Gather some of your dog’s favorite small treats. Ask your dog to sit/stay while you hide them in different rooms in easy to reach places. After your dog has been good and waited patiently, give him/her the go-ahead to find all the treats.
Be sure to praise him/her after every yummy treat, so he/she feels extra special! You may need to begin slowly. One treat at a time, repeat – until he/she understands. This is a fun game for you and your dog to enjoy to spice up a boring afternoon.
