Among Many Volunteers, These Two Are Outstanding!
In November, Mike Miller was recognized for his selfless involvement in many dog park endeavors over the years, from the prep for Pole Green Dog Park construction, to several Eagle Scout Projects. He has been a reliably cheerful, hands-on resource for mechanics and engineering, building not only camaraderie but also assuring the projects’ longevity. Mike and Anne’s German shepherd, Gretchen, dons a Santa Claus hat every Christmas for display on the PGDP FB page.
Tandy Farber, was recognized in December for her steadfast participation on the FOHDP Board of Directors since 2012. She was also Sec/Treas 2012-2014, and Sec 2015-2016. Her contributions of time, enthusiasm and craft skills were significant in helping the organization to blossom from an idea to reality, culminating in the addition of Pole Green Dog Park, and The Annex. Tandy and Arnold’s German shepherd, Smoke, loved the dog parks.
